History & Character

Our space is special and unique. One of the oldest buildings still standing in Rolesville, it has served many purposes - from a general store, to a sewing factory, to a secret meeting place, to a dance studio (originally The Dance Attic), to a local newspaper. We intentionally have kept the space as original as possible because we appreciate the beauty of original hardwood floors, ceiling tile and plaster walls. Be kind to the space as it is quite old - dating back to the early 1900’s. Embrace the squeaky floors and admire the craftsmanship of the past while we live in the present.

Going For It

Owner Lauren Mobley decided to just go for it in November 2022 when the upstairs space of 104 S Main St. became vacant. There was a lot of work and upkeep to be done, but she was ready to take on the task with the help of her close family, especially her older sister Allie who has always been her right hand woman. Lauren decided there is no time like the present and wanted to continue a legacy of women owning businesses in the Rolesville/Wake Forest community. With the goal of providing a stress-free, relaxed environment to all Studio 104 clients, the primary message she wants everyone to leave with is to “Be Proud Of Yourself Today.”
